• Dear,

Here is below the screenshots of the conversation I had with the support team of plugin YITH Point of Sale, where we found that the captcha from Wordfence was generating login issues on custom pages.

The support provided a workaround code that allowed bypassing this issue for the moment, but they don’t have the possibility to fix this integration within the plugin because it’s not possible from Wordfence side.

Can you please check this thread and let me know your feedback, so I can revert your answer to the support team of YITH Point of Sale ?

    Thanks

Hi @jeriss, thanks for your question.

Our reCAPTCHA and 2FA are designed to be compatible with the default WordPress and WooCommerce logins only. Some checks during the login flow or display of error messages may be impacted with custom pages or ones generated by other plugins as the HTML element(s) may not match the WordPress/WooCommerce ones we’re looking for.

We have found that developers could try to make other forms compatible by naming elements similarly to the default WordPress pages. This would also improve compatibility with other plugins offering similar features: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/the-logging-with-the-form-in-the-frontend-of-the-site-always-gives-an-error/#post-17747476

There may be other plugins that could add a compatible reCAPTCHA to your form in the short term. It is possible to run Wordfence with Login Security features disabled so that you can still benefit from our site scans and real-time protection.

We are looking to expand compatibility with other popular plugins that generate login pages in the future. I am unable to comment on possible schedules here on the forums, so plugin developers are welcome to contact us to see how they can help Wordfence work with their plugin by emailing genbiz @ wordfence . com.

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
