    Hi

I have been testing this form for a new real estate website and have subscribed to the pro version.

When someone completes the residents registration we review their application and then approve within 24/48hrs. We want to sync with Mailchimp to allow us to send emails about their interests.

It appears they automatically get added to Mailchimp even if they have been approved or not.

Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

    Thanks

    Ali

    Hi @alidolphin,

Please contact MailChimp support as their plugin is syncing new users irrespective of their status on the WordPress site, whether approved or not.

    Thank you

I am unsure whether Mailchimp is causing the issue and have considered using alternatives such as Double Opt-In Settings for Mailchimp. However, due to the significant time gap between when the user is expected to be approved and when they can confirm in Mailchimp, this solution is unlikely to resolve the problem.

To investigate further, I have set up a staging site for testing and am willing to share the issue with you.
