    Hi.

We’re trying to find a way to integrate Mailpoet with The Events Calendar RSVP functionality and whilst there’s a few plugins that can handle much of it, there’s one area I’m wondering if it’s possible to do.

When someone RSVP’s to an event, we need their details added to a mailpoet list.

Put simply, is there any way to trigger adding an email to the form when clicking another button, or a bit of script that can trigger the adding process?

    Hope that makes sense.

    Thanks

    Hey there!

Thanks for contacting MailPoet, happy to help.

I’m honestly not familiar at all with this Events plugin. Can you elaborate a bit on what exactly the action is that you are wanting to happen, and then what action of the events plugin you want it to trigger on? Are you wanting to subscribe someone to a MailPoet list based on their usage of the events plugin?

    Hi @slash1andy

The Events calendar is a popular events plugin – https://theeventscalendar.com

Basically we want to sign up someone to a newsletter list when they RSVP an event – have found a demo online to show you the RSVP form.

Have found a few plugins that offer some level of integration, but would LOVE a more first party solution so we’re not relying on even more plugins.

Sorry if that’s still a bit vague, I’m trying to get a demo of the site I’m working on on-line which may help more

    Thank you.

    Hey again!

Thanks for the elaboration. For this use case, there’s not a first party integration (made by us) to integrate with this RSVP function.

You can use the API to make this happen, so that the RSVP action triggers an API function to add them to a list: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/195-add-subscribers-through-your-own-form-or-plugin

Hopefully that helps! Have a great one!
