Integration with Postie

    This plugin is working great, thanks.

    I also use the Postie plugin which allows me to email a secret email address and have the content of the email added as a new WP post.

    My problem is that when I make a new post via Postie the Subscribe to Category plugin doesn’t send the alert emails.

    I think this is because the Postie plugin doesn’t make any entries in the wppost_meta table.

    Has anybody used this plugin with Postie successfully?

    Hi Darren,
    I have loaded the Posti plugin to my test environment and I can confirm that the Posti plugin will create a post which works together wit STC. My emailed test post worked at least perfectly.

    Please make sure that the category (or default category) you use in the emailed post is a category where STC subscribers also have this category checked. If this is not the case no subscribers are notified.
