    Aloha,

    I am looking for someones advice or help!

    I need an affiliate link tracking plug in, the way my WP site is set up and the theme in which it is build I cannot utilize a normal plug in. I need an external HTML Script as oppose to a plug in. Can anyone give me some advice or help me with this? Does THirstyAffiliates have an External HTML Script? If not, does anyone suggest to point me in the right direction? Thank you so much!!

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out. In order to use ThirstyAffiliates, you’ll need to have it activated as a WordPress plugin on your site so if you aren’t able to manage plugins and view the WordPress admin area then this tool likely won’t work I’m afraid.

    However, there are non-WordPress related link shortening services such as Bitly which allow you to shorten your links and get statistics on how many clicks those links are receiving.

    Thank you Tyler! Super appreciate your quick response. Do you know by any chance if Bitley will allow me to track conversions or just clicks. Guess I’m stuck in a hard spot without being able to utilize a normal WP Plug in. Thanks for all your help, I greatly appreciate it!

    Hi there,

    I’m glad I could help. I don’t have too much experience with Bitly, but from looking online it seems like you’d be able to track how well your links are converting as well although you’d need an additional system such as Google Analytics in order to get that metric.
