Plug in WP to Twitter has built in integration for plugin events manager. I am trying to figure out the proper syntax for a tweet

sorry haven’t tried that plugin before but maybe the devs of that plugin does have much better answer for this?

If that information is available as custom fields on the post, then you can get the custom fields by using double brackets: _event_start_date, etc.

The plug-in will only fetch the actual value of the field, however, so you may need to apply custom formatting. For example, if the event_start_date field is a timestamp, you’ll need to format it. You can do that using the filter ‘wpt_custom_shortcode’.
