• Hello,

I have menu problems after update. We have two different subjects on the landing page with both English and French versions. The subpages of the one of the menus seem to be show the other menu after being opened.

Also some the translations seem to be incomplete.

This has happened before updates, and I have to reprepare everything. Like you, and the other people like me, I do not have time to reconsider to build “almost” everthing after updates.

Updates are expected to solve problems; not creating problems those exist before.

I wish everyone who are responsible from these updates should be careful enough not to publish any update before being sure that those will create problems with the working web pages.

    Thanks in advance…

  • Although I do not know the full details of your issues but often times WP will improve codex for better performance and greater ability to do more. With that said, I would investigate the plugins to see if they are up to code for the latest WP version. If not then you may want to check with the developer(s) of that plugin(s) to provide a solution. Same applies to themes. I have seen many plugins become defunct or deprecated.

Secondly, if you have your own custom plugins or mods then you probably need to update the code in accordance to WP’s codex.

    Hello,

I have Divi, Yoast SEO and WPML. These all should be compatible with each other and WordPress theoretically.

We have to use two different menus, because we have two different types of customers. There are not many choices to set two different menus and as I could not install and/or operate the others, I have chosen “Menu Swapper v1.1.0.2”. Probably this (third-party) plugin have some problems with the upgrades.

But as some errors also occur with the translated (to French) pages after some WordPress, Divi, Yoast SEO and WPML upgrades, I am not sure that this plugin is %100 guilty.

    Thanks for your response…
