Inter Var font makes your site SLOW

  • I love everything about this theme — except the variable font.

    It looks great. I even like the lack of features –simply because the theme just WORKS.

    Except for the font.

    We MUST have a way to turn off the variable font. It makes the theme unusable for any serious site with any kind of traffic.

    My speeds triple with the font -vs when I delete the code for the font. Under 1 second (without the variable font), to 3.5 seconds with the variable font.

    This is unacceptable for any serious site user.

    Give us an option to turn off the variable font — this is a really big deal for me.

    (One that doesn’t require me to manually delete lines of code — which is not recommended!).
