Interactions not working

    I recently federated my site thecozy.cat and it’s half working, half not. I installed the ActivityPub plugin, the Friends plugin, the Webfinger plugin, and the Enable Mastodon Apps plugin. I have fully configured the ones that can be configured. My profile appears to be federated. From my Bookstodon account I am able to search, find, and follow my wordpress profile just fine, I can also see my most recent test posts, however, interactions with my wordpress profile don’t seem to work. I am testing with my bookstodon account, and favorites/replies/mentions between my wordpress profile and my bookstodon profile don’t go through at all.

    Using my wordpress account via the fedilab app also doesn’t show any of my posts when viewing my wordpress profile directly, but I can see them in my local feed for some reason?

    Anyways, any help resolving these things would be so greatly appreciated, thank you!

    That’s odd. When I am logged into my wp-admin, I don’t get the error, but I tested logged out and when I am logged out I do get the error.

    I deactivated my security plugin and that’s what seems to be causing the issue, I’m just not sure which setting would cause it to block the webfinger though. I am using Shield Security. You wouldn’t happen to know what security settings could cause this issue, would you?

    Hi Mattias, I am in contact with my security plugin support now. I think this is probably something they will need to help me with as the issue relates to their plugin. Thank you so much for your help in pointing out the error. ??
