Interesting attack from French IP directly on Wordfence
-
Am wondering if Wordfence needs to figure out a way to strictly block direct attacks on the Wordfence configuration, as a matter of principle?
When Wordfence becomes _the_ most popular WordPress firewall in use, which it might be already, I’d expect the criminals will make it their mission in life to attack and circumvent Wordfence.
Check this attack out, it appears it would not have been blocked other than by my rate limiting, which they can easily circumvent. (Of course, they would not have been able to access my admin without being logged in, but in my opinion they should have been immediately blocked for even trying.)
