• I am trying to add some html code to a footer widget in order to make a review widget show up.

However I cannot find any HTML code at all in cPanel.

All of the code I can find in cPanel is PHP and css.

    What does that mean?

Widgets would be found under Appearance > Widgets, but it may also be theme-specific.

WordPress does not have HTML files – the HTML is generated from multiple places when the pages are loaded in the browser.

    (Interface Pro) is the theme.

If WordPress does not have HTML files, and I want to add HTML code in order to make the widget appear then I assume that I need to add it to one of the pages which says PHP?

Hard to say without knowing what the code is – in your other thread (which I just closed because duplicate threads are not allowed here) – you mentioned that it’s a plugin issue?

Generally, you can put HTML code in a widget.

Oh and BTW, commercial themes aren’t supported on these forums – so if it turns out to be a theme-specific question, you should ask on the developers site.

WPyogi It doesnt sound like you can help me.

Does anyone have any helpful advice they can share with regards to adding some HTML code in order to make a review widget appear?

I’m trying to get enough info to even know if I help you – which plugin is causing problems and what is the code you are trying to add and where did you get it from?

If the code is long, please use a pastebin.

You can just add it in the “Text” editor when you edit a page/ post.
