Interferes with REST API

As of WP 5.5 and PHP 7.4, the current plugin version (1.4.5) appears to leave an open PHP session that will interfere with WordPress’ built-in REST API. This can cause problems like tags not saving from the post edit screen, among others. A message will show up in WP Admin ‘Site Health’ page, under the Tools menu.

Obviously I learned this from my own troubleshooting, so take it with a grain of salt. Wanted to post for anyone else having this issue (and possible fix in a future version).
