Intermittent Errors after v1.8.2 to v1.8.4

I just updated from v1.8.2 to v1.8.4 and could not get this plugin to work any longer no matter how many times I attempted a basic contact form. I found the important notice at the top of the plugin so I reauthorized the plugin. That allows the plugin to intermittently work about once every 2 or 3 tries. I rolled my site back to just prior to this update (no other plugin or site changes) and it works every time with v1.8.2. I should add that it has been working great for a little over a month now.

When the plugin doesn’t work, I get the following developer error message:

Is there something I missed in the reauthorization of the plugin? All I did was go to the plugin settings and click the reauthorization button.
