We have 2 issues that come and go. The first is that clicking on a next/previous month arrow causes the 3 dots to flash but the current month to be returned, the same happens with the month selector. However, if I right click the arrow to get the address of the next / prev month page and paste that into the browser address line, that works fine. This hasn’t happened for several days now, but is happening right now.

The second issue is that clicking on any of the events produces a page not found error. This issue is less frequent than the first issue and only occurs when the first is present. Again it is happening now.

Clearing the site cache, browser cache or switching to another browser doesn’t seem to make any difference, but eventually the issue clears. All other links on the website work fine.

    Hi Abz

The month selection problem did happen on a couple of days early last week, but not the page not found issue. I believe that was after the update to 6.0.4 . However it is very intermittent and it is working fine today. Regards, Dave.

I would add to my last comnment that I have also reported the issue to 123-reg, our hosting provider and they can see no log errors at the time of the problems. Regards, Dave.

Hi @daveatcos, thanks for the updates here. I could see that your website loads correctly and was able to navigate through different buttons and views. Please do keep me posted if it happens again. Also, I was able to test it with different browsers and incognito.

    Have a great day.

    Thanks Abz

It seems to be working fine the last few days, but I will monitor as sometimes it goes for a week okay and then starts playing up again for a few days. Very strange.

    Best wishes

Hi @daveatcos, no worries, and thanks for the updates here. Please do keep me posted. That’s really strange, and please clear any caching, both third-party and server-side (if you have any).

    Have a great day,

    Hi Abz

Issue is occuring this evening. I have cleared both site cache and my browser cache. Using my phone produces the same result.

Hi @daveatcos, that’s definitely weird. Are you using some minification for CSS and JS? If so would be good to try disabling then reactivating it, see if that makes a difference. See if that’s an option for your theme as well.

    Hi Abz

As of this morning the prev / next month problem was still present and additionally clicking on the events produced a page not found error which happens less often, but only when the other issue is present. All other links on the site were fine. A friend suggested resaving permalinks and that has resolved it for now though I’m not convinced it won’t happen again, but it might give you a clue as to what the root cause is. Regards, Dave.

Hi @daveatcos, this is definitely weird. Perhaps it would be good to do housekeeping from time to time on your site, which includes clearing caching both third-party plugins and server-side (if you have any) and flushing permalinks. Also, I suggest doing this whenever you upgrade or change Settings to ensure the pages load properly.

Rest assured that I’d be taking note of this as well. Appreciate the updates and clues here, Dave.

Hi @daveatcos, writing back to you here. Does the issue persist with the latest version of the plugin? To be safe, we’d recommend conducting these tests on a Staging Server. Also, please keep a working backup of your website.

    Hi Abz @abzlevelup

Clearing both local and server cache made no difference, but following your last message, flushing the permalinks seems to have done the trick. That was several weeks ago and I haven’t seen the issue since, though it was very intermittent, but I’m hopeful that it is now resolved. Thanks for your help, best wishes, Dave.
