    I am having trouble locating the local classifieds portal form.
    A form with a theme and a plug from hivepress.io works perfectly. It is simple and works inside the website (does not send messages to e-mail). Users can chat inside the portal. Unfortunately, there are no open maps. Only google maps. The plugin does not work with other themes.

    I checked the “AyeCode” theme. The GeoDirectory theme is very good. Maps work fine. Looks very good. It is well configurable. But the form is only via email. Support said it couldn’t help. You should create the plug yourself.

    I checked external plugs. For example: “frontEndPM”. Sending messages is bad for me. It does not automatically send to the person who posted the ad. You must first select a user. Only later can the message be sent. The form must be simple, on a principle;
    -I enter the advertisement
    – I press the button “contact with the advertiser”
    – I write and send the message directly.

    Searching for users can be a problem for people visiting your site.

    Do you have any ideas on how to solve this problem? I’ve been looking for a week and I’m spreading my hands. no ideas.

  • You’ll need to contact the theme or plugin developers for support and it is not clear to me from what you scared shared which theme or plugin might be causing the problem you described. So, it is hard for me to help or point you in the correct direction.

    I wrote to the creators. But that’s not a problem with their plugins and themes.
    That’s why I’m looking for an external plugin to change PM messages.
    “hivepress” has the news. Does not support OSM. I’m waiting for the introduction (no one can determine the date)
    “wpgeodirectory” has OSM. But there is no inside news. Support wrote that I have to create it myself.

    The problem is the exchange of messages on the site. He wants messages to go to the database. In this way, the exchange of messages between users will be on my portal.

    I need such a solution for one reason. I want the target group to be over 50 years old. This means that many users do not have an email inbox. Therefore, it will be easier to check the message in the portal.

    The external plugs are working. But they don’t send messages directly. You must enter a recipient to contact him. And I want the message to be sent to the advertiser immediately (without selecting the recipient from the list).

    Therefore, I am asking if anyone knows such a plug.

    HivePress.io offers a listings plugin and part of what you are asking for sounds like their plugin will work. It is best to use a simple theme for the design and plugins for the functionality. I do not understand what you are looking for beyond the classifieds listing functionality. I am not sure about what plugins will do the other functionality you are looking for your site to have because I do not fully understand the rest of the functionality you want.

    Problem solved.
    Plug: “Better message”
    The plugin solved the message problem. Works exactly as it should.
    The author updates it on a regular basis.
