Internal Error when attempting to generate invoice

    Hello,

    When on the checkout page, if i click the ‘Place order’ button an error appears ‘Internal Error’. If I disable the PDF Invoices plugin it works.

    When checking the error log this is what I’m getting:

    I’ve searched the errors on this forum and can see others having the same issue. Suggestions were saying that manually creating the 2018 folder in the attachments directory fixed the problem. However, when trying this the issue still remains.

  • I’ve had this happen too in the free version. It seemed to start when the plugin was updated. Try going into the Invoices settings, get rid of everything in “Attach to Emails”, then Save Changes. Then add them back in and Save Changes. It worked for me after that. I’ve had to do this every time the plugin was updated for several versions. This is definitely a bug. Isn’t it open source? If so, can’t someone fix it?

    Also, I haven’t updated this plugin for the past 2-3 weeks, partly because of this problem. So I don’t know if a new issue has been introduced or if the above thread does the same thing my fix does. It’s definitely the same error you and I have had though. Really ANNOYING.
