Internal Error When Uploading Files
-
Hello Guys,
After several days of trying to figure out whats happening on my website and many failed attempts at trying to get a solution from my host I am reaching to you for help.
I decided to start using wordpress platform on my website a few weeks ago, I was able to create a different domain using my multi domain hosting to make a development site so that I could try it out and so that there was no downtime for my actual website. a week ago I finally shut my other site down and reopened it on wordpress but I haven’t been able to even start building it because of this:
Every time I try to upload something form my computer it keeps sending me to an internal error 500 page, I’ve tried uploading the theme I uploaded to my development site, a small theme, even when trying to import my posts using the export/import plugin it keeps sending me to the error page. I get an HTTP error when I try to upload images as well, I’ve only managed to upload images under 30kb. The error log says the following over and over:
[2015-10-13 05:16:50] [autoindex:error] (13)Permission denied: [client 104.227.9.98:11393] AH01275: Can’t open directory for index: /mnt/web/ns/std/f/f/b/vmgmakeup.com/web/, referer https://www.vmgmakeup.com
I’ve tried the following without resolving the issue:
– changing the permissions using FTP
– modifying/deleting/renaming the htaccess file
– uninstalling all plugins/themes
– increasing memory limit using an ini file and the .configI don;t know what else to try or where the error lies, its been over a week and its driving me crazy please help!!
