Internal link used on frontend while using bit.ly url shortener

While using bit.ly url shortener for sharing, internal links are used on clicking share button such as https://www.sitename.com/wp-json/wp/v2/posts/2172/autosaves?_locale=user.
Also upon looking at bit.ly dashboard found that bit.ly links are created for internal url instead of public URL.
