Internal linking – bug

    Hi,

    Since the last update of the plugin I have a problem with the WordPress standard function for internal linking (The little paper clip…). Normally I enter a keyword in this standard function for internal linking and all posts containing this keyword are displayed. But since the last update, the internal search only shows me event entries that contain the keyword and no posts.

    As a test I deactivated the plugin yesterday, then the internal search also showed me posts again. So it looks like this bug was created with the last update of the calendar plugin.

    Do you already know about this bug or can you help me with my problem?

    We didn’t receive any report about that but it would be great if you provide us with some screenshots and images of the errors you faced step by step?
    I would then forward it to the developer team to fix the issues in the upcoming updates.
    There is nothing to be worried about, we will fix the issues, I also appreciate you for reporting the issues.
    Please provide us with more details, screenshot, or any documentation so we can find the issue.

    Screenshot 1 and 2 show the search element for internal linking. In my example I have tried to search for an article with the German word “Unfall”. I know, that we just published an article about “Unfallversicherung” so usually this should have appeared in Screenshot 2 as a result. But no results. In screenshot 3 you can see, if I search for a keyword, which also exists in on of our calender entries, I get results from the calender plugins – marked as “Veranstaltung”.

    So the problem is, that the internal search only refers to “Veranstaltungen”. Regular blog posts doesn’t show up anymore. As I already said, this bug exists since the last plugin update. When I deactivated the plugin the internal search also showed me posts again.

    Oh, it’s reported before, and if you use the latest version of MEC(version 5.4.5), your issue should be solved(changelog).
