Internal links don’t work

    I have a problem while creating posts optimized for SEO. Yoast SEO plugin tells me that I don’t have any internal links in my post, but I have at least one. I was importing posts from another page, could it create that problem? How to solve it?

    We would like some more information.

    1. Can you provide a link to the post that Yoast is saying does not have any internal links?

    2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    3. How are you adding the links? If you are using a pagebuilder like Elementor what modules did you use to add the links? A text module? A button? Something else?

    Hi, it happens every time I try to add the internal link.

    Everything is updated.
    I’m using standard WordPress editor, but I tried it in Elementor but it still doesn’t work. I’m using the standard add link option (Link, CTRL+K)

    Thanks for sharing the relevant page links with us. We looked at the relevan? pages and see that it has the following internal link:

    We understand that Yoast SEO is still not detecting it but showing the relevant pages has no internal links. If you’re using the standard WordPress editor (Gutenberg), can you please confirm whether you’re using the Classic block on there?

    In addition, can you please confirm whether you’ve performed the SEO data optimization from the SEO → Tools page?

    Thanks for you help, after performing SEO data optimization I needed to edit those posts and add the link once again. Now everything works perfect!
