Internal links don’t work

  • Hello all,

    a friend’s website had to move and I took over. Before it was on another domain (www.birds-online.de) as a subpage and second WP installation. Now I have set up everything on https://www.weissbauchpapageien.de so far and imported the backup created with Updraft. In the database I have adjusted all links (photos, posts, etc.) and it is set correctly.

    In the backend all posts are displayed correctly in edit mode. In the frontend I only see the home page, all other pages are not displayed (server error). Therefore the linking in the main menu does not work either.

    Unfortunately I don’t know any solution and I hope someone of you can help me to finish the page move for my friend successfully.

  • Go to your Settings => Permalinks at the backend, ensure that you have “Post name” selected, and then just click save for repopulating the menu links. Try this and let us know how it goes.
