I am a developer and sometimes the shortcodes, and visual editor are not enough.

I love the idea of the Internal links, which is only possible on the Visual editor side, and not the HTML editor side in my site at Blondish.net

Is this a bug? OR, will I have to actually use the visual editor. Sometimes, I like to code some cool things, so on occasion, when switching between HTML and VISUAL, some things are lost and I have to re-write code.

SO, is this possible on the HTML side to get the Internal Links options??? Because, this is such an awesome feature!!! (thank you Dev team!!!!)

  • Ah hah! Your post caused me to bust out my google-fu, and here’s what I found in a comment from Nacin on digwp
    https://digwp.com/2011/05/visual-editor-on/

It’s worth noting that WordPress 3.2 brings internal linking to the HTML editor.

That said, I’m proudly a user of the visual editor first, with the HTML editor coming in at a distant second. For me, in many ways, it’s the editor styles that are the must-have.

I had no idea that was impending, but I like it!

EDIT: Just verified on my dev install, it’s in there!
