  • sounds like the backup failed, what does it show as the size of the backup?

    Hi,
I had the same issue, Can you help me?
The size of mine was 18.9MB.
I thought maybe the backup failed as well, so I deleted the back up, logged out of WP account. Re-logged back in did a new back up URL file – copy and pasted that one and the same error occurred.

Hoping you can help me work this out so I can restore this URL backup to a new WP location.

    Thanks in advanced ?? Jema

there’s a screenshot in this thread (3rd post),is that the same error?

Yes that is the same error ??

did you try the manual upload method described here? also described here (last post)

Hey i just tried to do the download of the ZIP file and upload through my FTP, but i tried the download 3 times after refreshing the window and deleting old back ups ect and it just keeps coming up with this: The requested URL was not found on this serve.
Therefore the file didn’t download properly so I can’t upload to FTP.

Any help you can offer would be great. Thanks again, thus far you’ve been great ??

if you ftp into your main site, can you see any backup files in ‘wp-content/uploads/wp-clone’?

    thanks that worked a GEM!!!
any quick easy way to move images from one to the other so image URL’s still work? or is that something you need to upload regardless..

    THANK YOU

    images in the ‘uploads’ directory?

Hey, thanks – I’m just going to manually upload them shouldn’t be an issue ??
    Thanks!

    ah okay,marking as solved..
