    HI,
Anytime I install a plugin, when I activate it, an “Internal Server Error’ page appears, and locks me out of my entire site! I tried downloading directly, and also downloading to my computer and then uploading to the site, but neither work. The only way to fix the problem is to delete the plugin files. Latest plugin I tried was the “The Google + Plugin’. Not sure what is causing this, any help would be appreciated!

  • Contact your host. I know Hostgator has been locking down their servers such that I’ve had to open multiple tickets to have them create a white list so my sites can install plugins.

Your host should be able to take a look at the server log files and pinpoint the cause for you.

As Matt said, you’ll probably need to contact your web hosting provider so that they can review the PHP/Apache error_log file.

Ok thanks. I tried deactivating a couple plugins, and that did the trick. It seems the ‘Calculated Fields Form’ plugin wasn’t playing nice.
