    Try disabling plugins and fixing the .htaccess file as follows.

    You’ll need to use an ftp client (like FileZilla) or your host’s cpanel (or File Manager) and navigate to the WP files on the server.

    In your WP installation there, find wp-content/plugins and rename that plugin folder to something like plugins-hold. That will disable all plugins. Rename the folder back to the original later, after you regain admin access.

    Find your .htaccess file and rename it to something like .htaccess-hold. Then try to visit your site admin again. If it works, go to Settings > Permalinks and reset them by changing the setting to a different one and back again. Save your original choice. This should create a new .htaccess file.

    If this works, then try updating your plugins again.
