Internal Server Error

Theme installed: The Beauty Salon 2 (by Red Factory)
Other Plugins activated: Kismet, Contact Form 7, Easy Bootstrap Shortcode

What hosting are you using?

Also, what triggers the internal error, accessing any page on the dashboard or only specific pages? It looks above that the page goes into timeout when you access the Plugins tab, is that correct?

The error happens with the plugins tab and the home page of the dashboard, and sometimes with others – occurs as soon as I activate the plugin

Can you try uninstalling and re-installing the plugin? Maybe some of the files got corrupted/missing on installation which would explain the error.

If that also doesn’t work we will probably need access to the site to investigate such an odd issue. You can provide them on our contact us page (on synved.com under the About menu). Also add a note confirming you allow access for the purposes of troubleshooting.

I have had exactly the same error over the last few days. Running SMF on Fasthosts at https://www.Residents4U.org and I get the exactly the same error messages and database hangs on WP-Admin. This was after an upgrade to Fasthosts’ ‘Low Contention Database’. External site works ok but WP-Admin is unusable. Took a few days of troubleshooting but narrowed it down to SMF. When it is disabled all works fine. When it is re-enabled the WP-Admin hangs. It also breaks all the javascript on WP-Admin so the Menu and Widget admin pages are unusable. Deleting SMF and reinstalling it makes no difference. It still causes DBA hangs on WP-Admin.
