Internal Server Error

    Hello,

    I try to compress images on 2 websites . I can compress images individually but I cannot have list of uncompressed images. An internal server error appears in console.

    Same problem on local. I have checked error log in apache folder :

    Web site on local : Windows NT 10.0 AMD64, PHP 8.1.17

    Website online : Linux 5.4.0-124-generic x86_64, PHP 8.1.19

    Version of WP-Optimize : 3.2.16

    I want to confirm a few things, please assist me with the following:

    1. It appears that the error log you’ve provided is from the local environment. Could you kindly share the error log from the live site instead?

    2. Is your website in English, or has it been translated into another language?

    Hello,

    I will ask to my host for error log, but I think that the error is the same in live site because the error in console is the same. Each time I want to update uncompressed images, this message appears in console: XHR POST https://localhost/archipel2/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on local site and XHR POST https://www.archipel-des-sciences.org/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php on live site.

    Websites are not in English but in French.

    @ads97129 Based on the error log you provided, the issue originates from line 175 in the file “class-updraft-smush-manager-commands.php”. This line contains the following sentence: Since your compression statistics were last reset, a total of %d image(s) were compressed on this site, saving approximately %s of space at an average of %02d percent per image.

    Have you, by any chance, translated this sentence to French? If so, please check if you translated it correctly. Additionally, switch back to the English language temporarily and check if the issue persists. Thank you.

    I haven’t translated this sentence. I have deactivated French translations and the issue disappeared.

    Hello,

    I have updated WP-Opimize and it’s working. But it doesn’t find images before 2022/11, only images in folders between 2023/08 and 2022/11. Is it normal?

    @ads97129 Could you please provide a screenshot of Media Library and Uncompressed images screen?

    It is possible that prior to 2022/11, you have used another image compression plugin/service?
