• Hi:

One hour ago I was updating the plugin WPtouch Mobile Plugin from 4.2.5 to 4.3.1.
It returned the error: Internal Server Error

My site (pdm.com.co) has crashed. I could not access it.

I have received help from my hosting provider, and they have detected that this plugin was causing the problem.

They have disabled it for me and then I could access and manage my site again with no problems.

Could you help me to solve this problem with this plugin.

    Regards,

    Luis

  • Same problem here, the update nuked my site, had to manually disable WPTouch plugin. After re-installing the plugin the activation fails with the following error message:

“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in <REMOVED JUST IN CASE>/wp-content/plugins/wptouch/core/class-cache-smash.php on line 104”

@juhokosunen: Your PHP version is too old for “namespaces”.

Upgrade your PHP to at least 5.3, better 5.6 or greater, see also here.

    @ov3rfly same error with a php 5.4.x

I removed the plugin… I’ll check with next update.

    Hi:
Does somebody have tested the plugin WPtouch Mobile Plugin 4.3.2 in order to know if that version fix the problems?

    Regards,

    Luis

    Hi Luis,

It was thoroughly tested on our end, in versions of PHP as early as 5.2, and the issue was resolved. Sorry about the inconvenience.

    Regards,

    Emilio Rivera,
    WPtouch Support

I just updated my site https://www.goddesslifestyleplan.com to V4.3.4 and when I try to view the site on my web browser, all I see is a white screen. I am able to view the dashboard fine and work in the backend when logged in, but the site is not viewable to visitors, just the blank white screen.

My host is running php 5.6, so that shouldn’t be the issue. I have disabled the plugin for now, but would like to be able to troubleshoot the issue and reactivate the plugin ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks
    Kim
