Internal Server Error when trying to download the zip file

  • I got twice the following message:
    ########
    The plugin encountered an error while downloading the zip file,the following error message was returned:
    Error Message : Internal Server Error
    ########

    1. In first attempt i used default options of the plugin and my zip file was 496 mb
    2. In the second attempt I exclude some folders, zip file was 20 mb but again it produced the same error

  • assuming that you’re using version 2.2, deactivate wpclone and activate it again, it should refresh the .htacccess rules. if it doesn’t work, FTP into ‘wp-content/uploads/wp-clone/’ and delete the .htaccess file
