Added detail – it seems to be working, we just keep getting the error with every submission.

ALSO – the form doesn’t load on first load. I have to hit “refresh” for the form to load.

    FYI, from the error logs…

Hi again – I paid for this plugin and it’s not working. Can you please respond to this?

    Hi,

Sorry for not replying sooner. Can you please send WP admin access details to [email protected], I’d like to take a closer look at what’s occurring.

On our evenet calendar test page
    https://www.rcscommunitylibrary.org/?page_id=11491

I tried the shortcode with no success and like the lunabean, I get a strange error.
If I am not logged in a long white box with a 0 at the left side appears instead of the full submission form.

The form appears when I am logged in to my website account.

    Hi @rcsclibrary,

It is necessary to activate the following option: Events > Settings > Add-ons > Frontend Submissions > Allow anonymous users to submit events.

    Hi Benjamin,

Just wanted to let you know I sent info this morning.

Any update on this? I purchased this a week ago and it’s still not working. I’m being contacted by Time.ly because I expressed interest in the Hub calendar – which I am very interested in – but if I can’t get this calendar to work with front end submission then I won’t have a reason to get the hub calendar.

Thank you Benjamin. Our +Post Your Event button is functioning on multiple browsers with anonymous event posters.

At this point, I still would like email alerts sent to both anonymous event posters and to the administrator.
Nothing appears in the SPAM folder or regular inbox after the Frontend form displays a success message and the reminder that the event is pending approval.

    Hi lunabean,

I checked your site and the reason for this issue is likely WP Engine, do you have a staging site with the same installation where I could test possible conflicts with other plugins, wp theme?

I will check with our Tier2 network support team at the library systems where our website is hosted and get back to you.

Thanks for you response – I was out of town, sorry I missed it yesterday.

I created a staging site for you. I’ll send to the e-mail you provided earlier.

FYI, I did run this past WPEngine (they provided me with the error logs), and they didn’t seem to think it was anything on their end (and not that it necessarily matters, but the front end submission form from Modern Tribe’s Events Calendar didn’t have any issues). Also, I have disabled all plugins, myself, to see if there’s a conflict there. Still didn’t work.

    Hi again,

Just making sure you received my info. Thanks.

Is the silence a yes or a no?

Sorry – it’s been two weeks since I purchased this for a client and I keep telling them it’s going to work – but I can’t even get confirmation that information was received. Help please.
