    Hi there.

I am having trouble getting the international weight-based postage to work on my site (www.playfulmusic.org). I have screen shots I would love to send you so that you can see clearly what’s happening – is there any way I can do this?

In words, I will try and explain. Under “woo commerce”, “settings, “shipping” and “weight based”, I have put in details for the international rates. However, during checkout, only two options appear: weight based shipping – Australia only, and local pick up. I need “weight based shipping – International” – to appear and I don’t understand why it’s not appearing. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated. Kylie Stacey

    Hi Kylie,

You can use imgur.com service to share screenshots. Please let me know what rules you have currently configured with the plugin.

    Hi Kylie,

I have just tried switching country and it worked: https://image.prntscr.com/image/9f75546122a34ca4891d3353d9499b97.png. Am I missing something?

Hi Dan, sorry I thought I replied to this straight away.. but I obviously didn’t post properly. Thanks – I can see it working now!

I am sending a link for a screenshot of what I think looks a bit ambiguous. I am wondering in RED, where is says “Calculate shipping”, it should say something like “International rates calculator”… instead. It seems a bit confusing when the Australian version is listed… Just my thoughts as a user. See:

    for what I mean.

    Thanks Dan, Kylie

‘Calculate Shipping’ part is not controlled by the plugin. I believe you can change it to whatever you want with a custom template part or a hook. Changing it to ‘International rates calculator’ by default wouldn’t work for all stores, for example for ones having no international shipping.

Usually, you don’t want to include text like ‘Australia only’ into shipping option names since it makes user think they choose their destination by selecting a shipping option, while actually it works in the opposite way: user selects their destination at first and then see a list of available shipping options.

The things we are talking about is how Woocommerce works. Thus they are not controlled by this plugin.
