Intranet only – Keeping license active?

Since the developers have not bothered to respond to this question/issue on the Pro Support forum, I’m trying here. Is there any way to keep the pro version of this plugin active, if your site is intranet only? It can’t reach out to their licensing server. We’ve used this plugin for a years and now it’s not working for us because they’ve decided to have a big brother licensing system. Even if you manage to activate the license, it will deactivate immediately on next load because it can’t reach their servers.
