• I have two blogs – one is a normal blog, the other is a tumblelog. I would like to connect both these blogs via one intro page; the idea being the user will surf to https://www.????.com and on that page, the latest or the three most recent entries for both blogs would appear on that page. Readers can then surf to that page by clicking on a relevant link.

I would like to know how best to do this. I have tried RSS feeds but it doesn’t seem to work.

Any themes that can be applied to get this effect?

    Thanks in advance
    Idlan

  • My recommendation would be RSS if both sites have a feed. Maybe you could explain why it doesn’t work?

No, themes won’t do it. Themes are for how your WP works–not for how an external site works.

The only way I can imagine doing this (semi-painlessly, though there’d be some need for custom coding) without using the RSS feeds is *IF* both blogs are in the same database, you could formulate a SQL query that collects posts from both posts tables.

But, the RSS method is the far easier one.
