introduce my WP blog now!

  • well, I got a wordpress blog few months ago as a admin added by another registered member. And I was glad to register myself and post here to introduce my blog: https://umi.beok.net/porcelain

    aside from the music loading automatically, its very nice.

    I find the text a little hard to read. The medium-gray on the black backround blends together a little bit too much for me.

    But, I like the layout.

    PS: I keep the volume OFF most of the time online because I hate when music auto-loads. Its unnecessary.

    and I was appreciate to see that mellojoe said the text hard to read because the color, not the poor english i have:)

    I know what you mean about poor English. Hehe

    I just wanted to comment that I had no problem reading the text. However, certain colors show up slightly different on other Operating Systems and computer screens. XP and earlier (I haven’t used Vista) show things a little rough. Linux shows things pretty clearly, most distributions anyway.

    As for the music: playing music on load will make the page load slower for guests. But since, your guests will mainly be gamers, I don’t think you’ll have too much of a problem with that. But still playing music on page load is breaking a major rule of web design.

    Everything else on the blog is really awesome, the color scheme is great and I like the rounded corners up top with the subtle border.
