Can you please make the large warning about FaceBook not behaving and it not being your fault dismissible for say a month, or better, for ever? Thanks.

  • Absolutely agree, it’s a real pain in the a**.

You can suppress that warning on the settings page, open graph tab, by activating the “Suppress cache notices” option.

Also, to solve the error itself:

Please update to the last version and fill in the App ID and App Secret on the settings page (Open Graph tab).

You can follow the “Read here” link for more details.

Done all that. It’s still showing the warning.

You are absolutely right. (regarding the “Suppress cache notices” option)
We are going to fix this right away.

Anyway, if you fill in the App ID and App Secret on the settings page, the error no longer exists.

I have and it does still exist. But I’ll settle for the warning supression.

Anyway, if you create a Facebook App and set the details on the plugin, it should update the cache correctly, and not return an error.

We’ll launch a new version on a few moments with the “Suppress cache notices” option fixed

I already have a Facebook app and have set the details on the plugin. And it doesn’t update the cache correctly. It returns an error.
Ironically, the plugin appears to work perfectly.
