• Have been validating my code for and have come to halt over a bit of code from the cms-navigation plug in.

    here it is …. (li class=”categories”)(a href=”https://www.mermanbarn.co.uk/news-offers”)News

(ul) (li class=”cat-item cat-item-1″)(a href=”https://www.mermanbarn.co.uk/category/news-and-offers” title=”View all posts filed under News and Offers”)News and Offers …. (sorry code wasn’t showing using code tag so have subbed () for tag opening and closing brackets(?).

The offending code is the ul tag after News.
Two questions …. what do I alter where in the cms-navigation pho file to correct this?

or … how do I get the category to just show in my menu bar and not the News link as the new and offers page is the only category I have.

    Thanks

    Pete

  • When I check your website (https://www.mermanbarn.co.uk/) it appears as 100% HTML clean. Are you using the plugin?

If you’re using it in a different place, let me know where. I’d like to have a look at the complete HTML.

Regarding the categories, I think that the best solution would be if we just don’t list any category if there’s just one. Having a drop down menu item with just one item that is essentially the same as the parent makes little sense. What do you think?
