    Hello everyone, how are you?
I need help getting my e-commerce done.
When a user clicks the shopping cart and tries to register a new account, the form shows “this email address is invalid” (but it is not), but when I am here in admin, the checkout works with any email. That is, if it is an account already logged in, it works, but if it is a new client, it can not create the account because any email address is invalid.
I do not know if it is plugin or woocommerce error.
    Help me please!

    Thank you very much

  • I couldn′t tested it as much in 3.6.4 because of my problem with add-to-cart (see my ticket a couple of minutes ago) but I experienced as well a strange behavior with creating an new account.
In my case the user name should be generated out of the email-adress and it works until 3.6.3, i.e. from [email protected] it was generated teddy as user name.
    this worked fine.
with 3.6.4 I made a test with [email protected] and the user name volker.horbach-0331 was generated!? not really convenient for a (new) customer.

    Hi there @mfercam,

I’ve tried to replicate this on a clean installation of WooCommerce 3.6.4 and have not been able to do so. I can create a new account on checkout with no issues. Because of this I’d recommend completing a conflict test as outlined in our Self Service Guide: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-self-service-guide/#section-4

This will help you rule out if the theme, or another plugin is causing the conflict.

    Hello guys,

    Thank you for your support.
I discovered that the problem is with the Checkout Field Editor plugin for WooCommerce.
This is the best plugin for customizing the fields on the checkout page, but, I had problem with email field validation.
For now, my solution is another plugin, I’ve installed Flexible Checkout Fields, customize my form, and it’s working now.

    Thank you
