    This topic is not closed. The bug is real and it is not good form for you to delete the replies of people who have experienced this issue.

    When I’m using this plugin, I am forced to make any event span multiple recurrences. It simply will not allow me to make a one day event, whether or not I enter begin and end times. If the event does not recur, I am given the alert “Invalid end date”.

    I am quite willing to supply screenshots showing this.

    I just tried your demo version of this plugin, from the FAQ link on the sidebar. The demo is an older version where this was still working.

    Dear jimmycrackedcorn,

    As stated within the reply to your review, it is not us who closed the topic. The issue is investigated and our team is working on fixing the issue. Thank you.

    Why would a moderator remove the last 5 replies from a thread, mark it solved and close it less than 2 hours after the last reply, thus making it appear that it was solved 6 days prior? That doesn’t make any sense unless one of you is a moderator here. Forums are to inform people, not hide the truth of when discussion is happening.

    Dear Jan,
    You should have ending time for each event. If that’s a single day event it should have start hour and end hour, otherwise the event will not be displayed. Thank you.

    I am also receiving the invalid date error message when trying to add a meeting to the calendar. The date was selected from the calendar dropdown. There is no option to add an end date.

    Dear jimmycrackedcorn,

    We are not hiding any of our issues. We have even commented on your review that it was a bug, which has already been resolved and we have updated the Spider Calendar. We work within the environment of transparency, thus we do not want hide any bugs and rely on our customer requests/bug reports to make changes. That’s our policy.

    Again, the bug (caused by the previous update) has been already resolved both for free and Pro versions. Thank you.

    It is curious though, isn’t it, that *someone* has decided it was good form to delete 5 posts from that thread and close it. ?? Love you guys.

    The real issue was that the plugin developer didn’t provide the solution in the thread and instead resorted to private support with admin access. Now nobody else has the solution.

    @support-web-dorado , Please don’t proactively ask for that level access.

    Thank you Andrew, I understand better now. I noticed several threads where the developer would ask folks for their site’s admin login information, and I was not planning on handing over mine.

    @andrew and @jimmycrackedcorn,

    There is no inner fix for the issue. The Spider Calendar is updated now (both on WordPress and our site) and accessible to everyone for download. We do provide public solutions for the cases when the issue is coming from a known conflict or can be investigated by link (e.g. CSS issues). Some cases require admin access since those are conflict with another custom plugin/custom theme, so we require admin access to find the points of conflict and resolve them.

    I’ve asked you not to do that. It is beyond your responsibility to require access to someone’s installation. If someone has an issue that you cannot resolve then so be it.

    If you’re really trying to be that helpful, then just ask people for a screenshot or list of the other plugins they are running, their browser and computer info, etc.

    Anyway, thank you for fixing the plugin. I have absolutely no idea how to change a review that I’ve left.

    @jimmycrackedcorn,

    You will need to go to the review and edit it providing the reason, why you are editing it. Thank you.
