Hi @avidsnk,
I hope you are doing well today!
Please share an export of the form with us and the link of the form page, so that we can check further.
You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export
After exporting, please share the code using a services such as https://pastebin.com or https://justpaste.it/ which is free to use.
Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.
Kind regards,
Zaferthanks for the reply, I put the link of the code
Kind regards,
Andrea
HI @avidsnk,
Thanks for sharing the form export, I tested the export on my test site but wasn’t able to replicate any such error message as shared in your screenshot.
The form always gets submitted. Are there any steps to replicate the issue?
Possible to share the page URL where you have the form so that we can check and see how it behaves during submission?
Looking forward to your response.
Best Regards,
Nithin
sure I’ll put the url of the site here https://ilgiardinodiaurora.it/cosa-facciamo/una-voce-amica/, I don’t want you to get an error because the whole thing is also linked to a google sheet that update
Kind regards,
Andrea
Hi @avidsnk,
I’m afraid, the mentioned URL is throwing a 404 error, am I missing out on anything?
Just to be sure, do you mean the form also has Google Sheets integrated? If yes, could you please check whether you are able to replicate the same issue if you duplicate the form and test with the copy of the form without Google Sheets integration?
Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
for the page I check because until aieri it was working, the problem is that on all the forms I have on this site with forminator they all give me the same error and all are linked to a google sheet
Kind regards,
Andrea
I created a new form which is called test 2 by cloning the old one, the page I had linked to you was blacked out and I was not notified, I will link you the test page
https://ilgiardinodiaurora.it/prova-2/
ty
Kind regards,
Andrea
Hi @avidsnk,
I was able to replicate the issue with the page URL that you provided.
Kindly confirm if this form was integrated with Google Sheets. If it was, could you please try removing the Google Sheets integration and check if that resolves the issue?
Can you please try a complete conflict test to make sure no other plugin or theme is conflicting and causing the issue? I hope the following flowchart comes in handy: https://wpmudev.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Support-Process-Support-Process.gif
Please let us know the results so that we can help you further.
Kind Regards,
Nebu JohnI tried to remove the google sheets but it keeps giving the same error, I did a check from the link you sent me but everything seems ok, the strange thing is that when I was doing the site on the test domain it was working without error then migrating it to the actual domain it started giving this problem
Kind regards,
Andrea
Hi @avidsnk
the strange thing is that when I was doing the site on the test domain it was working without error then migrating it to the actual domain it started giving this problem
Are there any differences when compared with the test and actual domain? ie in terms of plugins, settings etc
Since we aren’t able to replicate the issue on our side, the issue might be more specific to the website. However, it’s tough to say what exactly is causing the issue as I’m not able to find out any console errors or anything specific that would point when checked on your website.
Is the test and the actual domain hosted in the same server? If yes, does it have cache enabled on the hosting side? Maybe you could give a quick test to see how it behaves when the cache is temporarily disabled in the actual domain?
You could also try enabling the “Prevent page caching on form pages” option in the form under the “Behavior” Tab > Rendering in the form and see if that works or not too..
Possible to also share the form export of the new form you have shared on the following page too:
https://ilgiardinodiaurora.it/prova-2/
So that we could also test the above form in our side?
Looking forward to your response.
Kind Regards,
Nithin
