Invalid ID format

    I’m trying to enter my GA4 info into Web Stories plugin and it’s telling me it’s an invalid ID format. Looks like someone else posted about this two years ago and you weren’t set up for it. What’s the deal now?

    Hello @tanjasue ,

    GA4 does not currently support Web Stories, which is why you can‘t enter your GA4 ID there.

    We will inform our users when there is an update regarding GA4.

    Web Stories for WordPress version 1.33.0 has just been released. Users will now be able to use GA4 by entering their GA4 measurement ID.

    In the Web Stories plugin, go to Settings and enter your GA4 measurement ID (e.g., G-12345) in the Analytics section.

    From now on, all analytics data will be sent to your new GA4 property. Please note that it might take a while for the data to trickle in in your analytics dashboard.
