    Hi,

I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I am getting this on FB Debugger.
Provided og:image URL, could not be processed as an image because it has an invalid content type.

I am using oceanWp theme if I disable Yoast the Debugger says this.
    Inferred Property
The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags., fb:app_id

    Here is my site.

  • Hi @suryaadidarma30,

We tried to view the image set as the og:image and it returned with a 403 Forbidden error.

Can you check your site settings or your server configuration files to remove any restrictions blocking access to this file? You may need to contact your web host to help you investigate.

Thanks for following up with us. If social media websites like Facebook and WhatsApp are showing the image thumbnail fine, you can ignore the relevant warning.

That said, when looking at the front page https://undanganbuatkamu.com/ of your website, we see the image here https://undanganbuatkamu.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/apple-icon.png as the Yoast SEO generated og:image property. So, this is the image that appears when sharing the relevant page on social media.

However, the Facebook object debugger (crawler) is unable to crawl the relevant image due to the 403 forbidden issue and as such, it’s showing the relevant warning. Oddly, I was unable to reproduce the issue but looks like my colleague @priscillamc were able to reproduce it as expected.

To conclude, you can either ignore the relevant warning as it’s not affecting the image thumbnail when sharing the relevant page on social media or make sure the relevant image can be accessed from anywhere, any devices, and there are no rules that are blocking the Facebook crawler.

Note: this is something not specific to Yoast SEO but specific to the way the image is currently setup on your website. So, you’ll need to troubleshoot further if you want to see what’s going on.
