“Invalid order” when customer clicks downloadable product link

Have you set a download limit or Download expiry to the product?

I notice in the URL above that the order is identified as “wc_order_afu4cu9Vsun9D” while the order ID is actually 57693. Could that be were the issue lies?

To confirm, if you go to the order and copy the link, are you able to access the file or do you also get the error message?

If you also get the error message, can you share a screenshot with us?

Have you tried revoking the access and giving it again to check if it solved the issue?

Has anyone else purchased the same product after this customer? Do you know if they were able to access it?

Hmmm….I just checked the link on the order page and also the original email that went to the customer. Link works now. Before when you clicked on it you get the standard WordPress white page with a message at the top saying “Invalid Order.”

Any idea what might have happened? In any case it seems resolved now.
