invalid parameter: ‘client_id’

    Hi to everyone.

    I get the invalid parameter.”client_id”

    What it′s done:
    Account is created on Add Sense
    Plugin Google Site Kit also installed

    One thing is pending is that i have to paste THE ADSENSE CODE on the html but i can′t find where is located.

    In my theme editor, i don′t see any HTML template.
    I use the Jannah theme and i only see php in the editor

    Is that the issue?

  • Hey Phil,

    Thanks for reaching us out.

    – At what step you are facing this issue?

    – For AdSense code usually its placed in <head> tag in theme’s header.php file. But you just need to configure AdSense through Site Kit. No need to add the AdSense code
    manually. Site Kit will do this for you.

    – The only thing you need to make sure your AdSense account is approved & good to go. Also please try to setup AdSense in browser incognito window.

    ok so now that i′ve skeped the step with the code, at the end of the validation, they say that my account needs to be approved first (few weeks)

    So adsense have been approved …

    But now i have a : Error: invalid ‘client_id’ or ‘client_secret’

    Can you please share following things that can be helpful for us in investigating the issue?

    – Please let us know on which screen you are facing this issue? Its Site Kit dashboard or AdSense page? Any screenshot or video would be helpful for us.

    – Also please share your Site Health information via form privately so we can check what’s happening at your end.

    We don’t see any activity from the site in our logs and recommend you to Reset Site Kit (Site Kit->Settings->Reset), then try setup again.

    Let us know if you still face any issues after resetting Site Kit.
