    Hello! Thank you for your quick reply. Sorry for not answering sooner.
    And thanks for the good news. Just to leave a record, I want to post the workaround I did in case it happens to another user.

    In the settings, email tab, I edited the content of the change password email sent to users. This is the modification I did:

    To change your password, <a href="{{home_url}}/{{ur_login}}?action=rp&key={{key}}&login={{username}}">click this link</a>.

    I based the modication on @bncpeter suggestion.
