Invalid Payment Amount Received

  • Hi, I have researched this error and saw that it was resolved in the past by an update of the plugin. I am now receiving this error and wonder if there is a resolution that I have not come across.

    I receive this error when my order amount exceeds 2 orders. The error reads like this “System was not able to complete the payment. Invalid payment amount received. Expected $84.77, got $84.76.” It always is a few cents off by what the plugin is expecting.

    My Landing page stripe checkout is in test mode now. I have also downloaded the test version of the stripe payment plugin and I received the same error. I have currently reverted back to the latest stable version of the plugin.

    Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how to resolve this error.

    Hi and thank you for your report.

    Looks like the error happens due to regression in tax + quantity calculation.

    This is currently fixed in testing version of the plugin (which is just released). Please try it and let me know if it fixes the issue.

    I have tried this testing version plugin – stripe-payments_2.0.37t3.

    It did not resolve the problem. I am trying to download a testing version now and it says that there are none available.

    When was this new version released?

    Looks like it was re-deploying when you tried to download it.

    Current testing version is 2.0.37t4, I just successfully downloaded it myself.

    Yup looks that way. It’s working now. Thanks! Will the stable version be automatically updated when it becomes available?

    Yep, you can update it from WP Dashboard normally (via “Updates” page) when it is released. Should be early next week.
