given that uri, the redirect_uri you should declare is

https://www.website.com?oauth=linkedin

or

https://www.website.com (the query string is ignored by LinkedIn)

Unbelieveable. It works now with just https://www.website.com. Why that?

but LinkedIn ignores the query string but it’s important wether or not there’s slash at the end

the one you have on the settings page is for information only, you cannot change it and must use it to register your application with LinkedIn
