I should also note that I updated to the latest beta, just to give it a try, and no change. I am up to date with my WP install as well.

@somnifac – I have sent a response back to your Bug Report on this noting you are using Cloudflare as a service or with a caching plugin. Let’s keep the conversation in the Bug Report for the time being.

    Thanks!

Many of us have this problem, but for some reason it looks like Photocrati cannot solve it.

My guess is that after they bought the plugin they don’t have the competence to understand it from bottom to top.

I’ve heard of many users migrating from it and I’m evaluating myself a few alternatives.

Too bad that a very nice plugin like NGG stops working at some point.

The problem seems to be Cloudflare’s Rocket Launcher. I had the exact same problem, and after disabling the Rocket Launcher on the Cloudflare website i was able to add/modify galleries again. It is sort of a workaround until this gets fixed hopefully.

@zegazegazig – Thanks for your input. This particular issue with Cloudflare and their Rocket Laungher / rocketscript has been brought to their attention as well … unfortunately their code is outside our scope of support but in most every case where that caching service and its (beta?) code are used it will create an issue for NextGEN Gallery.
