  • If I don’t get details, I won’t be able to help you out.

So, let’s start with few simple questions:

    1. WordPress version you are running and if it’s a single or multisite install
    2. The main language of your site (is it english or something different?)
    3. PHP version

Mine is now working. Not sure what changed but I think it fixed with an update.

Getting the same error also in the Dashboard on WP 4.1.1, php 5.4.38.

Invalid response, more details in JavaScript Console (F12)

Can you post a screenshot with the contents of your console log, more details on how to access that here: https://deconf.com/faq-about-google-analytics-dashboard-for-wordpress/

I just started getting the same error.

    Latest WP version
    Apache Version 2.2.29
    PHP Version 5.4.34
    MySQL Version 5.5.42-MariaDB
    Architecture x86_64
    Operating System linux

Screenshot as requested from others: Screenshot

I looked at your link Alin. It was memory, but I didn’t have an error in my logs. So, I just dropped a php.ini file in wp-admin folder to increase the memory and it fixed it.

    Thanks.

I have the same problem! please help me!!

I am getting the same problem. I have deleted and reloaded the plug in several times and reauthorized and it is still doing it. I have a reasonable understanding of back end of wordpress but not in-depth tech stuff like coding. this plug in has been working fine for a long time and now is not very frustrating. could it be something in the google analytics account? I was in my account a while back but i don’t recall what changes I made that could affect the GAWP plug in.

All of you having this error should follow the FAQ page and open a new topic with the error details.

Alin, could you please assume for a moment that I am not a programmer, have never programmed, and have no intention of programming, and please explain to me how I can fix this error I keep getting “Invalid response, more details in JavaScript Console (F12)” I looked at the FAQ and really it was of no use whatsoever. What do I do? And how can fix it? It used to work. Now it does not.

@slapdog please open a new topic and describe where you got stuck in the process and I promise you, I will show you how a “non-programmer” can easily press F12 in a browser and copy paste an error back here.
