• Hi,

  • Could be possible indeed, but I had different ftp passwords stored in the filezilla client, but only ftp seems to be ‘hacked’.
I also had this login + pw remebered in Mozilla firefox, so that could be another way to obtain these logins..
The mozilla logins + passwords are also stored in plain text, somewhere on a file on your computer.

Yes I was using FileZilla too. I cleaned my laptop pretty good with Malware Bytes and AVG, going in to Safe Mode etc, but I’m not using it to work on the site any more. I’m using my PC, which is not used for much online work, so it’s pretty clean.

Plus I also deleted everything and reinstalled WordPress with all new passwords etc..

Even my site is suffering from the same problem..

Any Suggestion please.I deactived all my plugins and checked themes files the line is not there at all.

Chiming in here…I am managing a website with the same exact link added to the bottom of index.php files in a Joomla site.

I use linux on all of my work so this probably did not come from a virus on my work station.

WebHost is BlueHost. I sent an email support ticket when I first noticed it about a week ago and they sort of shrugged it off. I called back today and they guy I talked to said he has seen that going around other sites…but he could/would not tell me if it was server specific.

Can everyone else mention who their webhost is if you do not have your own server? I am wondering if there is a pattern.

Can anyone help mee im trying to finalize my site and add page titles to the header of my page, been trying everything but nothing works.

Also ive been trying to change my font to marketing script i installed the ttfiles plugin and added the font i just cant get it to show on my sidebar titles or my blog title. Wouldd love and greatly appreciate some help if anyone kinows what to do, my blog is celebrityshoestatus.com if u need codes let me know.

@ghettocottage I had the same problem simultaneously in 3 dedicated servers, different providers.

Maybe someone in your hosting company have a superuser with full ftp access to users folders has been infected.

Our was files was modified over FTP I saw the ftp server logs.

@celebshoe : You need to start a new topic cause we’re discussing something else here.

I’m using HostGator. Everything seems to be ok now. Since reinstalling everything, I don’t access the site at all from my laptop. Use my pc now, cause all the malware etc was on my laptop. So I guess it means it was something on my laptop accessing the site behind my back..
