    Hey Jessica,

It looks like you are attempting to use another plugin’s widget (WD Instagram Feed). If you remove that widget and add a plain “Text” widget in its place and then add the shortcode “[instagram-feed]” or whatever shortcode you wanted to use, you should get our plugin working.

Hmm, I am not having any luck by doing that. Do you have any more suggestions?

This is my website (https://www.vi-vian.com/) and it is on the right side bar. If you scroll down, you will see. I left it there.

    Hey again,

It doesn’t look like the plugin “Instagram Feed” is active. You can try going to the “Plugins” page and taking a look to see if the plugin Instagram Feed is active and then try the steps to insert the feed in a text widget.

    Hello @craig at Smash Balloon,
I have the same problem, and got the problem resolved.
I did as you said, verify if the plugin is active, insert the feed in a text widget (it works), but still got the “Invalid shortcode” error message.
By changing the title of the feed (“Appearance” -> “Widgets”) from Instagram Feed (I think Instagram was the default title) into Instagram, it works.

    Regards,
